Quick Summary / Abstract ** REVISED Approve the attached lists of teachers to teach out-of-field in the Broward County Public Schools. This recommendation is made with the understanding that the individuals indicated will comply with all regulations of the State Board of Education and the School Board of Broward County, Florida. State Regulations require out-of-field teachers to take at least six (6) semester hours towards certification or take and pass the appropriate subject area exam. Teachers out-of-field due to the English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)/Multicultural Education Training Advocacy (META) agreement are required to follow the established timeline.
