Approve the renewal of Lease Agreement with the City of Plantation for use by Plantation High School and South Plantation High School swim and water polo teams. The City of Plantation's municipal pool located at Central Park will be utilized by the Plantation High School and South Plantation High School swimming, dive and water polo teams for practice sessions, meets and other aquatic activities. The current lease expires on August 31, 2014. The new lease covers the term of September 1, 2014 through August 31, 2016. The agreement has been approved by the City of Plantation. This Agreement has been reviewed and approved as to form and legal content by the Office of the General Counsel. The financial impact to the School Board of Broward County, Florida is $5,600 per year. The source of funding is the Department of Athletics and Activities budget.
