Roof Painting by Hartzell M/WBE Vendor(s): None The School Board of Broward County, Florida, received seven (7) bids for Painting of Selected District Facilities (Phase III). This bid awards two (2) contractors exterior painting remediation projects for Deerfield Beach and J.P. Taravella high schools to begin July 14, 2014, and be completed by December 17, 2014, weather conditions permitting. The project at Plantation High School will begin in early 2015. The estimated financial impact will be $925,600. The funds will come from the Physical Plant Operations budget. The bids received proved to be less than the $1.1 million budgeted for these three painting projects, saving the District $174,400.
