Quick Summary / Abstract
Approve the School Improvement Plans submitted by high schools and centers as required by the State of Florida Statute 1001.42 and SB Policy 1403. Schools in Florida are required to submit an annual School Improvement Plan (SIP) for School Board approval. Each School Advisory Council (SAC), representing all stakeholder groups, has developed a plan that addresses Florida?s Educational Goals and Broward?s District Strategic Plan Goals. All SIP plans were peer reviewed by principal instructional cadre groups. The process for all SIPs has been met in accordance with Florida Statute 1001.42 (School Improvement Plans) and 1001.452 (School Advisory Councils). There is no financial impact to the District.
