The School Board of Broward County, Florida, entered into an Interlocal Agreement with 26 municipalities in Broward County as per Florida Statutes, Sections 163.3174. The Interlocal Agreement requires that the Superintendent of Broward Schools modify his Site Review Committee to include two new members. The two representatives will be appointed by the muncipalities. One representative will represent the interest of all of the cities and the other representative will be a "floating member" that will be appointed by the City Manager of the city where the proposed school site is located. The "floating member" representative will change as school sites may be in different municipalities.
