Quick Summary / Abstract
Approve amendments to executed agreements to accept funding to implement the following school clubs: Girls Get IT (GGIT) - designed to engage girls in STEM subjects and careers A. McNicol Middle School for $2,000 B. Piper High School for $2,000 The purpose of this item is to amend the previously executed contracts providing funding for school based programs to serve students in grades seven through twelve as opposed to grades two through twelve. The school-based clubs are designed to develop work and life skills, as well as STEM and STEAM careers, and to prevent bullying. This Agreement has been reviewed and approved as to form and legal content by the Office of the General Counsel. This agreement will be executed after School Board approval. There is no additional financial impact to the District.
