G-1. Personnel Recommendations for Instructional Appointments and Leaves for 2012-2013 School Year (C)   October 16, 2012 Status:
Quick Summary / Abstract Approve the personnel recommendations for the 2012-2013 appointments and leaves as listed in the attached Executive Summary and respective lists for instructional staff.  All recommendations are made with the understanding that these individuals will comply with regulations/policies as set forth by the Florida Department of Education and The School Board of Broward County, Florida. The teacher approvals on this G-1 item are teachers in subject areas for which there is no surplus and/or layoff teacher in that certification area that could be placed in these positions. The Personnel Recommendations for Instructional Employees include the following items: 1. Teacher Approvals 2. Instructional Leaves There will be no financial impact to the School District.  Funding for the positions has been allocated in the school and department budgets.
