Quick Summary / Abstract
Approve the consulting agreement to develop and deliver the Digital Education Teacher Academy to SBBC teachers. The consultant agreement will allow SBBC and FAU to co-develop a replicable program to provide professional development in technology integration to teachers that is research based and student achievement oriented. FAU will deliver the Digital Education Teacher Academy to 150 SBBC teachers at a cost of $568 per teacher up to a maximum of $85,200. As an incentive, teachers will receive three graduate credits. The project will have outside evaluation to assess the impact on teaching and learning in SBBC. The financial impact is$85,200 from Public School Technology Funds (PSTF).
