Adopt resolution 02-64, Required Plat Improvements - Manatee Bay Elementary (Elementary "P") which are required by the plat.
Summary
The School Board is platting the site of Manatee Bay Elementary (Elementary "P") located within the City of Weston. As a condition of plat approval, the School Board must assure the County that various capital improvements will be constructed. The School Board and County staff agree that a resolution by the Board, committing to the improvements, will be sufficient in lieu of bonding for these improvements. The only improvements necessary for this Plat are the installation of school flashers, an eastbound right turn lane on SW 36th Street, a northbound left turn lane on Vista Park Boulevard, and a traffic signal, when or if warranted by traffic counts within the next two years.

Financial Impact
The financial impact to the School District is $340,960, which will come from the capital projects contingency. The project is included in the Adopted District Facilities Work Program, Fiscal Year 2001/2002 to 2005/2006, Page 43.
