Approve the recommendation for award for the above contract. Contract Term: July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2017;User Department: Physical Plant Operations;Award Amount: $950,000;Vendor(s)Awarded: 7;M/WBE: Ideal Supply, Inc.(Hispanic-American M/WBE: Oakland Park, Fl) The supplies purchased under this contract will facilitate the district to continue to maintain and provide a safe and healthy environment. This is accomplished by purchasing cleaning tools that are considered the most effective in the custodial cleaning and maintenance industry. The estimated financial impact will be $950,000. The funds to purchase custodial maintenance and basic cleaning supplies will come from various locations. The financial impact amount represents an estimated contract value; however, the amount authorized will not exceed the estimated value.
