Approve the recommendation to reduce retainage now being held on Miramar High School, Project No. P.000339 (f.k.a. 1751-98-01) from the General Contractor, Turner Construction Company from $212,083 to $42,314. In accordance with School Board Policy 7005, the Facilities and Construction Management Division is recommending that the retainage be reduced from $212,083 to $42,314. The amount of $42,314 is being withheld at this time pending completion of this project. The funds being released totaling $169,769 are included in the District Educational Facilities Plan, Fiscal Year 2008-2009 to 2012-2013.
