AGENDA FOR SPECIAL MEETING

 

 

This Special School Board Meeting will be virtually conducted by Board Members via electronic communication. The meeting will also be live streamed. Pursuant to School Board Policy 1100A, no public comments will be permitted when the Board acts in its quasi-judicial function, such as during bid protests or employee discipline proceedings pursuant to Florida Statute, Chapter 120.

 

CALL TO ORDER

 

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

CLOSE AGENDA

 

PURPOSE OF MEETING:  To Conduct Quasi-Judicial Board Hearings, and any other items the Board deems necessary.

 

SUPERINTENDENT'S RECOMMENDATION:

 

1. Broward County School Board vs. Wyman Lee Gresham (Supporting Docs)

 

(1) Hold an Administrative (Evidentiary) Hearing for Employment Termination of Wyman Lee Gresham, Case No.: 050520-1; and

 

(2) Render a Final Order based on the action in the Administrative Complaint and the Evidence presented during the Administrative Hearing.

 

On December 10, 2019, The School Board approved the recommendation from the Superintendent of Schools to terminate Mr. Wyman Lee Gresham's employment. In response Mr. Gresham requested an Administrative Hearing.

There is no financial impact to the District.

 

2. Broward County School Board vs. Brandon Jamal Sutton (Supporting Docs)

 

(1) Hold an Administrative (Evidentiary) Hearing for Employment Termination of Brandon Jamal Sutton, Case No.: 050520-2; and

(2) Render a Final Order based on the action in the Administrative Complaint and the Evidence presented during the Administrative Hearing.

 

On February 4, 2020, The School Board approved the recommendation from the Superintendent of Schools to terminate Mr. Brandon Jamal Sutton's employment. In response Mr. Sutton requested an Administrative Hearing.
