CLOSE AGENDA

PURPOSE OF MEETING:  Annual Organization of the Board as required by Florida Statute 1001.371, and any other items the Board deems necessary.

SUPERINTENDENT'S RECOMMENDATION:

A-1. Resolution No. 18-95, Designation of Election of Chair, Vice-Chair, Meeting Dates, Names and Addresses of Members and Secretary (Supporting Docs)

Adopt Resolution No. 18-95, designating the election of Chair, Vice-Chair, meeting dates, names and addresses of Members and Secretary.

The adoption of this resolution is required by Florida Statute 1001.371, Organization of Board, and Florida Statute 1001.362, Officers chosen at general election.

There is no financial impact to the School District.

A-2. Resolution No. 18-96, Authorization of Facsimile Signatures (Supporting Docs)

Adopt Resolution No. 18-96, Authorization of Facsimile Signatures.

The adoption of this resolution is in accordance with Florida Statute 116.34, Facsimile Signatures and said resolution must be filed with the Secretary of State. A facsimile signature has the same legal effect as a manual signature.

There is no financial impact to the School District.

A-3. Resolution No. 18-97, Authorization of Signatures and Use of Manual, Stamped or Facsimiles (Supporting Docs)

Adopt Resolution No. 18-97, Authorization of Signatures and Use of Manual, Stamped or Facsimiles.

The adoption of this resolution is required by banks used as depositories for the funds of The School Board of Broward County, Florida.

There is no financial impact to the School District.

4. Appointment of School Board Representatives to Agencies/Organizations/Committees (Supporting Docs)

REVISED

Appoint School Board representatives to Agencies/Organizations/Committees, as listed on Exhibit 1 Exhibit 5 and approve the changes to appointed positions recommended in Exhibit 1 Exhibit 5.

There is no financial impact to the District.

ADJOURNMENT
