PURPOSE OF MEETING: For The School Board of Broward County, Florida to Discuss and Approve the Tentative District Educational Facilities Plan for the Five Years Beginning July 1, 2016, and any other items the Board deems necessary.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Approve the Tentative Educational Facilities Plan (DEFP) for the 5 years beginning July 1, 2016.
The Tentative District Educational Facilities Plan is being presented for approval at this meeting and the public is invited to provide input.

The financial impact of this item is to approve the $2.6 billion Tentative District Educational Facilities Plan (DEFP FY17) for the five years ending June 30, 2021. The first year of the DEFP FY17, $481.7 million, will be incorporated into the District's FY2016-17 budget.
